During my recent trip to Cluj-Napoca, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Liliacul on the outskirts of the city, and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. For just 25 € per night, I found the room to be spacious, clean, and equipped with a private bathroom, complete with a bidet and complimentary toiletries-a delightful touch for such an affordable stay. The hotel's proximity to the city center, combined with a local bus stop just 50 meters from the entrance, offers a convenient way to explore the vibrant urban scene without the hassle of parking. I particularly appreciated the beautiful terrace area where one can relax after a day of trekking around Romania's captivating landscapes. While there are some areas requiring updates, such as the furnishings, the overall warm atmosphere and friendly staff more than compensate for these minor shortcomings. For active travelers like myself, who often bring companions along for the adventure, Hotel Liliacul serves as a fantastic transit point for exploring Cluj-Napoca and beyond. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a budget-friendly stay that doesn't skimp on comfort or cleanliness!
